Who is Richard Juan?
Having grown up in an International School background in Hong Kong, Richard belongs to a generation of “third culture” millennials who have been exposed to multiple cultures at a young age. His multi-cultural upbringing has equipped him with fluency in five languages — English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Fukien and Filipino. His international upbringing, multi-faceted identity and diverse background connects him with people globally, at a time when the world is getting smaller and everyone is thinking bigger.
Richard started his entertainment career as a host while he was still studying in the highest ranked Filipino university. He then joined the Filipino franchise of Big Brother which further boosted his popularity. He also started acting with several cameo roles and eventually got casted to take the lead role on TV5’s Wattpad presents: AFGITMOLFM as Art Felix Go. He played Richie Tan on ABS-CBN Network’s Love Thy Woman. He is currently a host of Pinoy Big Brother Connect on ABS-CBN.
From his debut as a TV personality and model in the Philippines, Richard has built a dedicated fan base (of over 1M followers collectively in all his social media platforms) and a diverse work portfolio in Southeast Asia that are quickly extending to the rest of the region, particularly in Hong Kong and Seoul thanks to his astonishingly trendy Korean look and style. As a celebrity influencer and an Asian millennial with global aspirations, he offers a unique perspective on connecting with young fans in a way they crave and was recently recognised, as he was awarded Lifestyle Influencer of the Year by Village Pipol Choice Awards.
